Step 3: Write and Implement a Plan
A detailed action plan for partnerships should be linked to the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP)This plan will be grounded in the Four Essential Elements of the P-12 FSCP Framework to implement high impact promising partnership activities. Plans should reflect the Major Improvement Strategies from the UIP. Once a plan is created, the FSCP Team will identify the budget and resources needed to support the activities and meet monthly to check on progress, evaluate practices that were recently implemented, and discuss upcoming practices. FSCP Teams will also report on the plan's progress to the School Accountability Committee (SAC) or school board.
Partnership plans should be widely shared with all families, students, staff, and the broader community to encourage buy-in, solicit feedback, and provide opportunities to celebrate those who participate in developing and implementing the plan
Questions to consider:
- How is the plan connected to the P-12 FSCP Framework? What promising partnership practices reflect that connection?
- Who on the FSCP team has the capacity to lead the activities in the plan?
- What are the goals of the plan? What outcomes are you hoping to achieve?
- How will the plan be monitored?
- How will progress be measured?
