Response to Intervention Professional Learning Opportunities
Join us for professional learning opportunities focused on Response to Intervention (RtI). Each session will address a topic related to RtI to increase knowledge and build practical skills to support student-level problem solving.
Who should attend?
Educators, administrators and school leaders, special service providers, instructional coaches, student support facilitators and team members, and student support providers. Though it is beneficial for participants to attend each session, it is not required.
Cost
Each session is free to attend.
Response to Intervention within the Colorado Multi-Tiered System of Supports Framework
September 4th, 2025 – 8:30-9:30am MDT
September 4th Zoom Registration
- Participants will be able to describe how RtI functions within the Colorado Multi-Tiered System of Supports (COMTSS) Framework and the differences between COMTSS and RtI in practice.
- Participants will enhance their understanding of the key features of RtI and the function of each.
Using Assessments in Response to Intervention
October 9th, 2025 – 8:30-9:30am MDT
October 9th Zoom Registration
- Participants will learn the purpose and types of assessments used within a tiered system, including universal screening, diagnostic assessments, formative, and summative assessments.
- Participants will understand how to adjust supports according to assessment data.
Data Literacy for Response to Intervention
November 20th, 2025 – 8:30-9:30am MST
November 20th Zoom Registration
- Participants will learn how to collect, analyze, and use data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and make informed instructional and intervention decisions.
- Participants will learn strategies for using assessment data collaboratively in problem-solving teams to make timely, student-centered decisions across all tiers.
