Mobility/Stability Statistics for 2012-2013

The 2012-13 school year marked the seventh year in which the Colorado Department of Education calculated and reported student mobility rates. These rates have been reported following the guidelines set forth in CCR 301-67 - “Rules for the Administration of Colorado Data Reporting for School Accreditation.”  The stability rate represents the number and percent of students who remained at a school/district without interruption throughout the school year. A more in-depth calculation is provided.

In the 2012-2013 school year the mobility calculation was modified.  In the past, students who transfer to a school within the same district over the summer were not counted as mobile students.  This rule was expanded in the 2012-2013 year so that students who transfer over the summer (notice this is summer transfers only) to different districts also are not counted as mobile students.
