Positive Action

About This Resource

Positive Action is an evidence-based SEL and character education program for students in PreK through grade 12, with more than 40 years of use in schools across the country. The program is built around the Thoughts-Actions-Feelings framework, which teaches students that positive actions lead to positive feelings about themselves and others. Curriculum is organized into six units covering self-concept, responsible self-management, interpersonal skills, honesty, and continuous self-improvement. The program is available in print and through Pasela, a digital platform offering over 2,000 lessons with progress tracking and customizable content. It has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and is listed on Evidence for ESSA.
