PROmoting School-community-university Partnerships to Enhance Resilience

About This Resource

PROSPER (PROmoting School-community-university Partnerships to Enhance Resilience) is a research-based delivery system developed at Iowa State University designed to help communities implement evidence-based programs that reduce risky youth behaviors, support positive youth development, and strengthen families. Rather than a standalone program, PROSPER is a structured framework that connects university prevention researchers with the Cooperative Extension System and public schools to form community teams. Those teams implement one family-focused and one school-based evidence-based program, with ongoing technical assistance and support from university specialists and PROSPER implementation coaches.
