Students Against Destructive Decisions

About This Resource

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is a national nonprofit organization and student-led movement focused on youth health and safety. Founded in 1981, SADD operates through a network of student chapters in high schools and colleges across the country, equipping young people to lead prevention efforts in their schools and communities around issues including traffic safety, substance use prevention, and personal health and safety. The organization is built on the premise that peer-to-peer influence is among the most effective tools in prevention, and provides programming, resources, and leadership opportunities to support student-led change.
