Project Venture

Project Venture is an Albuquerque-based nonprofit that uses adventure-based and service learning, grounded in Indigenous cultural values, to support the leadership development and wellbeing of Indigenous youth. The program combines outdoor and experiential activities with culturally relevant approaches to build resilience, self-efficacy, and community connection. Over the past 35 years, Project Venture has served young people in 25 states, eight Canadian provinces, and internationally. Training is available for organizations seeking to implement the model in their own communities.
