Olweus Bullying Prevention Program
About This Resource
The Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP) is a comprehensive, evidence-based bullying prevention program designed for K-12 schools. The program addresses bullying at the schoolwide, classroom, individual, and community levels, and has been shown to reduce bullying by up to 40%, improve classroom social climate, and decrease related antisocial behaviors. It includes anonymous student surveys, data dashboards, and staff training, and has been implemented in thousands of U.S. schools and more than a dozen countries. The program is now distributed by the Center for Schools and Communities and is recognized by Blueprints for Healthy Youth Development, the National Institute of Justice, and the National Dropout Prevention Model Program Database.
