Know Before You Go

1. When and where will the conference take place?

The event will be held November 1-2, 2023 at the Hilton Denver Inverness: 200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO.  Please visit the registration platform, Sched, for a detailed schedule, including times of the event for each date.

2. Is free parking available on-site?

Yes.  Free parking is available at the venue.

3. Is Wi-fi available?

Yes.  Free Wi-fi will be available to attendees.

4. How can I find my way around the venue?

A map of the venue is available here and included on the registration platform, Sched.

5. Are meals provided?

Light snacks and beverages will be served; lunch will not be provided.   Attendees will be provided an hour and a half lunch break.  Restaurants (2) and a coffee shop are available on-site; additionally, the following restaurants are within a 5-minute drive from the venue: The Garden Terrace, Breckenridge Brewery, and Elevate Coffee Bar. 

6. Is a hotel room block available for the conference?

No.  A room block is not available; attendees are responsible for their own hotel accommodations and travel costs.

7. What is the dress code at the event?

Business casual attire is recommended.

8. How can I interact with the conference on social media?

Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The following Equity and Excellence conference hashtags are utilized: #EEConf2023, #AllMeansAll, #EmergingStronger, #BestFirstInstruction. 

9. Must I register for breakout sessions?

Breakout sessions will be held in rooms that have a space capacity. Registering for breakout sessions through Sched will help us ensure that we don’t exceed room capacity and will allow attendees to create and follow their own personalized schedules. 

10. How do I sign up for breakout sessions?

Visit the registration platform, Sched. To select a session, select the circular checkbox (a  tick symbol (✓) appears). If a session is at capacity, you can choose to be added to the waitlist; if space becomes available, you will automatically be added to the session.

11. Where can I access conference materials?

Presentation materials are included in the registration platform, Sched.

12. The conference is fully booked, what do I do?
