Review early elementary performance in context of early childhood experiences.

  1. Following the review of current student performance data for available years, analyze student performance in the context of their early childhood experiences and the early childhood landscape within your community.
  2. If using the ELNA data analysis template, review the summary tables and create additional tables as needed to support analysis.

  • What patterns exist between child outcomes in early elementary and the type of early childhood experience, quality of programming, or years of early childhood experience?
  • Which kindergarten students received services or state-funded preschool prior to kindergarten entry, or which should have but did not?
  • How might that inform gaps in outreach and engagement opportunities with families and external early childhood resources?
