Have your Students been using the BOOST App Yet?

Boost is a mobile app students can use to continue practicing their literacy skills outside intervention or at home. The app has several games students can play to practice skills ranging from phonological awareness to advanced phonics. Each game reinforces a specific early literacy skill. New games with more advanced skills are automatically unlocked as students progress and become more proficient in earlier skills.

Please watch this short video for details on how to get started with Boost. Your students and parents will love this addition!

Required Demographics

As part of the ELAT Project, each district agreed to include the required demographics in their enrollment files. Please ensure your files include the following demographics by September 28th. You may need to work with whomever rosters your mCLASS.

Gender
Race/Ethnicity
Eligible for Special Education
English as a Second Language

Now that you are finishing up your beginning of the year assessments, it is time to look at your data to create action plans and make adjustments to instruction based on results.
