February Newsletter

ELAT Program Contacts and Administrators

Thank you for completing MOY benchmark assessments!

We understand that these days of providing instruction are challenging for so many reasons. Thank you for going above and beyond to educate all students. A critical part of instruction is having the right understanding of where students are with specific skills to plan specific instruction. This requires both progress monitoring and using your interim assessment data.

Please plan now to ensure all students are progress monitored in a timely manner and are benchmarked during the ELAT end of year window: April 26th - May 14th.

If educators are unsure or uncomfortable with remote assessments, please reach out to Dori Klar, our ELAT Professional Development Project Manager and she will work with you to identify a time and plan for a coaching session to assist your educators.

We also have many resources already posted on the ELAT Microsite. We want all educators confident in their assessment practices.

As the Amplify ELAT Leadership Team continues to gather information to better serve your needs, we would greatly appreciate you taking 3-5 minutes to fill out this short MOY to EOY ELAT Instructional Planning Survey 20-21 by Tuesday, February 9th.

February Office Hours - The Amplify ELAT Team will be hosting February Office Hours, “Using your mCLASS tools” on Thursday, February 11 at 9:00AM MST. We will record and send it out as well as post on the ELAT Microsite so all educators can have access. Please register to receive the recording.

March Office Hours - Mark your calendars now for Wednesday, March 3rd at 9 AM MST! We will be sharing “What are the MOY ELAT data telling us?”. We have had several requests for these data so we want to let you know that this topic is coming. As always, we will be recording it and sending to anyone that registers and posting it on the ELAT Microsite.
