Registration is now available for the 2026 Spring Regional Secondary Transition Collaboratives: Ignite in Practice!

The Spring Regional Secondary Transition Collaboratives are designed as small-group, follow-up sessions to the IGNITE! Secondary Transition Leadership Institute. These regional sessions provide an opportunity to continue learning, collaboration, and momentum from TLI in a more focused, regional setting.

Purpose

These collaboratives support secondary transition teams by:

  • Providing updates and critical information related to Indicator 13 and Indicator 14
  • Sharing federal updates impacting Secondary Transition
  • Reviewing Big 3 updates and gathering team input
  • Participating in Taxonomy Application Stations
  • Reviewing Family Engagement report data and exploring practical strategies to strengthen and leverage family engagement
  • Addressing additional priorities and agenda items identified during the Transition Leadership Institute

Sessions are designed to support implementation, problem-solving, and planning as teams move from decision-making into effective instructional practices supported by sustainable systems.

Who Should Attend

These collaboratives are intended for education teams overseeing secondary transition planning and the quality and compliance of Transition IEPs at the district and/or cooperative level.

Recommended participants include:
