About this Training

If you have attended our One-Day Improving IEP Teams: Skills for Encouraging Productive Conversations and Resolving Conflict, and you would like to continue your training to effectively facilitate IEP meetings, sign up now! Registrants are required to have attended CDE's One-Day Improving IEP Teams: Skills for Encouraging Productive Conversations and Resolving Conflict training prior to attending this 2-day advanced training.

  • Conflict 101 - Harnessing the positive power of conflict / understanding common conflict reaction types
  • Constructing Productive IEP Meetings
  • Convening Productive IEP Meetings
  • Facilitating Open Discussions

  • The difference between anger, bitterness, and blame

Who should attend: 

Special Educators, Administrators, and Members of IEP Teams who have previously attended CDE's One-Day Improving IEP Teams: Skills for Encouraging Productive Conversations and Resolving Conflict training. 

When: 

April 27-28, 2026 - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

This training is limited to 40 attendees. Once registration is full, all others will be placed on a waitlist and alerted if space becomes available.
