A+ Advancement for Educators

Program Description

A+ Advancement for Educators offers professional development classes for K-12 educators. Our courses are centered around practical, culturally relevant, and student-centered strategies educators can use in their schools tomorrow. This course will provide educators with a foundation of effective instructional strategies for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) students. It begins with essential background information, including essential terminology related to CLD students; it will ask educators to reflect on their own cultural identity and implicit biases; and it will guide them through the process of designing a Culturally and Linguistically responsive learning experience.
