Bachelors of Special Education

Overview: 

The Bachelors of Special Education program is firmly rooted in best practices and pedagogy of serving students and families impacted by learning, social and emotional disabilities. The first years are spent focusing on your content coursework across campus. Your final year is spent in a residency in a special education classroom under the guidance of a mentor teacher, while taking online coursework that is designed to be immediately implemented in the classroom. At the conclusion of this program, students completing this pathway would be eligible for a special education license and can also add an elementary endorsement to their license.
