Finance Seminar: An interactive, day-long workshop on charter school finance issues that are specific to charter school board members, business managers and administrators.
Goal: Question and answer workshop
Attendees: Charter School board members, business managers and administrators
Frequency: Once a year in the fall
Location: Metro-area, but usually head at the Adams 12 Conference Center in Thornton, CO.
Business Manager Network (BMN) Meetings: Charter schools receive the most current and practical, experience-based technical information on topics pertinent to the business management of charter schools. Demonstrated success and best practices are shared openly among participants. CDE assembles an agenda for each meeting based on requests from participants and relevance to the business environment.
Goal: Provide information on topics requested by participants and foster a sense of community and networking among attendees.
Attendees: Charter school finance, accounting and business managers
Frequency: Every other month following the Finance Seminar
