Administrative and Leadership Meetings

Administrator Mentoring Cohort Meetings: Designed to pair new charter school administrators with proven veterans who can mentor and come alongside new administrators during the difficult startup years of a new charter school.
Goal: To grow an increasing number of strong administrators to perpetuate a charter school program's growth in future years.
Attendees: New charter school subgrantees and veteran charter schools.
Frequency: Group meets five times annually. Mentors and mentees meet monthly at one another's schools and work together via phone, e-mail, etc., as needed.
Location: Various locations
Fee: The annual fee for this program is $2500 for Level I and $1500 for Level II (Participation at Level II requires prior approval from CDE).

Pikes Peak Leader Meeting: Led by an experienced charter school administrator, these meetings focus on a text that varies from year to year, depending on the interests and needs of the group.
Goal: Improve knowledge through book studies and discussions, and reduce the sense of isolation.
Attendees: Charter school administrators or those aspiring to the be charter school administrators, including subgrantees.
Frequency: Usually the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through June.
Location: Held at a charter school or district in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado; occasionally held at a restaurant.
