The spring 2024 CMAS (all content areas) and CoAlt (science) dates on this page are subject to change. Dates are current as of October 2023.

December 15 | Notify CDE of extended (CBT Math/ELA) or early (G11 Science) testing window and test format selections | Upon completion of the CMAS Administration Training for DACs and submission of the DAC Security Agreement (through DocuSign), CDE provides official DACs the link to the form used to provide this information. If submitted by this date, CDE then indicates the selected test format in the state load of student data into PearsonAccessnext. |

This is an extended window to compensate for technology capacity. Districts can open the math and ELA window as early as April 1 for online administrations. Students with accommodated paper forms, and those taking CoAlt ELA and math (DLM), test at the same time as their peers taking online CMAS forms. |

Include misadministrations documented on the Testing Irregularity or Security Breach documents on the Post Test Compliance. The Post Test Compliance requires the Superintendent's signature. Indicate the status of each school's used scratch paper on the Scratch Paper Verification. |
