The spring 2025 CMAS (all content areas) and CoAlt (science and social studies) dates on this page are subject to change. Dates are current as of October 2024.

Must indicate/confirm:

  • Test format (CBT or PBT)
  • All accommodations and accessibility features with physical materials (e.g., auditory/signed presentation script, large print, braille, paper Spanish including CSLA)

Student Registration/Personal Needs Profile (SR/PNP) - Training Module

January 6 until Creating Online Test Sessions Assign special forms (e.g., accommodated forms, TTS) then create test sessions in PAnext

Assessment Coordinator Online Session Management - Training Module

January until Testing Starts Submit Verification of District Training Include the dates of training completion for all individuals involved in CMAS and CoAlt administration and handling secure materials. The Verification of District Training requires the Superintendent's signature.
March 1 - Prior to Testing Finalize preparation activities in PAnext

Scorable materials are used CMAS test books and CoAlt answer documents that will go through scoring.

May 2 Nonscorable materials pickup deadline

Nonscorable materials are secure materials that will not go through scoring.

May 2 Testing Irregularity or Security Breach Report and spreadsheet due to CDE Submit through CDE Assessment Syncplicity, if applicable
May 2 Submit Post Test Compliance and Scratch Paper Verification

Include misadministrations documented on the Testing Irregularity or Security Breach documents on the Post Test Compliance. The Post Test Compliance requires the Superintendent's signature.

Indicate the status of each school's used scratch paper on the Scratch Paper Verification.

Through May 7 PearsonAccessnext Clean-up

DACs can adjust PAnext user permissions to set their own school- and district-specific clean-up windows.
