COAGG's mission is to educate, motivate and empower individuals and communities to oppose Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity. COAGG has a speakers bureau of individuals who will go into classrooms to speak of their experiences.
Through this activity, students will learn about the history of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda specifically, the history of genocide generally, and the stages of genocide. They will also be introduced to testimony of eyewitnesses who survived.

We use a unique village-level dataset from the Rwandan Genocide to estimate the impact of a popular radio station that encouraged violence against the Tutsi minority population. The results show that the broadcasts had a significant impact on participation in killings by both militia groups and ordinary civilians.
