What is Career Navigation?

Career Navigation helps individuals make informed education and career choices. An individual's career development is a cycle with different parts, which they will go through multiple times throughout the course of a career. • Reflect  - Reflect and consider one's goals, interests, and strengths
• Explore - Explore different options within the system
• Plan - Plan and map out the next steps and actions
• Develop - Take action to develop the skills, credentials, and experience needed to obtain goals
• Connect - Connect the dots to create your future

Once individuals know and recognize their value, they can explore options, plan their actions and create their future! The Career Navigation team can help with any or all parts of the cycle.

Who We Are

Our Career Navigation Team supports individuals pursuing or advancing their teaching careers by offering personalized guidance and resources throughout their journey. We help clarify career goals, explore pathway options, and connect individuals with education programs, certification or licensing opportunities, and financial aid resources. We also offer job search support and ongoing assistance to help individuals navigate their professional development and thrive in the education field.

What We Do

• Support in finding Educator Preparation Programs for licensure
• Assistance with locating financial aid and scholarships
• Job search support and resources for aspiring and current educators
