Summit School District

Summit School District was formed in 1958 by a statewide reorganization of school districts. This reorganization combined six (6) small school districts in Summit County into one large district.
Summit School District covers approximately 516 square miles of mountainous terrain in the central Colorado Rockies. The towns and communities of the school district include: Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone, Montezuma, Silverthorne and Summit Cove.
