Grandview services students in Kindergarten through 5th grade and each grade level uses Bridges as our math curriculum and Houghton Mifflin Hardcourt (HMH) for our reading curriculum. In addition to HMH, most teachers still use Daily 5 Reading structures during Small Group and Independent Practice time during reading instruction. ng that has been experiencing growth over the last several years as we are approximately 100 over our capacity enrollment. Our Free/Reduced Demographic is at roughly 18% and we now have enough ELL students to warrant a full-time teacher. In the last two years we have doubled the number of staff members on our T2 Interventions team, Special Education team and added another full-time counselor. In developing the UIP, the building principal works closely with district directors to gain access to the data before consulting with the building's Instructional Leadership Team and the Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee. After feedback/suggestions are collected, the principal finishes the UIP for submission. At this point, while our focus will remain steady on providing a path similar to the one we have already created, we will also look forward to adding new and innovative ideas developed from the work of the district's and building's vision work. We have already established a new model of providing Intervention for our students called ''Flexible Scheduling'' in which we are much more intentional and targeted with our resources and needs.
