The Center Consolidated School District 26JT (CCSD) fiscal year begins July 1 and ends on June 30. Our District uses a modified accrual method of fund accounting and our chart of accounts aligns with that of the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). Our Board of Directors review financial statements each month during the Regular Board of Director’s meeting. Quarterly Statements are currently being fashioned for Board review as well. These financial statements are unaudited and are not adopted by the Board but are available to the public on the District’s website within the “Financial Transparency” module under “Other District-Specific Financial Information”. CCSD is required to submit a budget for Board adoption prior to May 31. The Final version of the current fiscal year’s budget must be submitted by January 31. All budget information is available for public inspection. The budgets are posted on the District’s website within the “Financial Transparency” module under “District Adopted Budgets”.
