Program Description

English Language Learners & Expeditionary Learning: Distilling and
Applying Best Practices is a PLC-based education program where teachers
each bring Expeditionary Learning strategies to their colleagues and share
the connections between that practice and that of best practices for
English Language Development. Teachers are then asked to apply that
practice to one they currently use or develop and apply an ELD-type
strategy. Each of the ELD strategies are based on Herrell & Jordan's best
practice model.
