Ascend Colorado IEP System
Ascend Colorado (AnLar)
Ascend Colorado is the new, customized Individualized Education Program (IEP) system currently under development with the Colorado Department of Education by AnLar LLC. The new system is designed to support implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Ascend will be used statewide by teams of educators, service providers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs). It will be available to all Administrative Units (AU) beginning July 1, 2021. Please visit the Colorado Ascend website for more information.
The Department has committed to working with Frontline and its Excent Enrich program through the 2021-22 school year, which will allow districts to continue using that system while the state transitions to the new one. More information will be available soon about the transition.
