Automated Data Exchange Project - Browser Encryption Requirements
Due to increased security on the ADE (Automated Data Exchange) website, a 128-bit encryption capable browser is now required.
If you receive one of the following error messages, or a similar message, you need to upgrade your browser.
-----Error Message 1----- "Insufficient encryption, this document requires a larger secret key size for encryption than your browser is capable of supporting."
-----Error Message 2---- "You are not authorized to view this page. You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied. If you believe you should be able to view this directory or page, please try to contact the Web site by using any e-mail address or phone number that may be listed on the cdeapps.cde.state.co.us home page. You can click Search to look for information on the Internet. HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden Internet Explorer"

In Internet Explorer choose ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER from HELP on the menu.
If it indicates "128 bit", you already have the correct version.
If it indicates "40 or 56 bit", you need to upgrade. The upgrade is available at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/128bit/default.asp
After answering the disclaimer questions the website will recommend the correct download based on your current browser.
