Save a file without opening
it. |
- Position the mouse pointer over the link for the
file you want to save.
- Right-click the link (On Mac OS, hold down the
Cntrl key and click the mouse button.) to
display a pop-up menu.
- On Windows choose Save Target As to open
the Save File window. On Mac OS choose
Download Link to Disk to open the Save
window.
- Select a destination from the top drop-down list
(labeled Save in in Windows). Accept or change
the name for the copy and click the Save

- Position the mouse pointer over the floppy
diskette icon on the Acrobat toolbar which appears
directly above the opened file. (The Screen
Tip text Saves a copy of the file
appears.)
- Left-click on the icon (On Mac OS, single-click
the mouse button.) to open the Save a Copy
window (On Mac OS, the window is unlabeled.).
- Select a destination from the top drop-down list
(labeled Save in in Windows). Accept or change
the name for the copy and click the Save
button.
