UIP in Action District Case Stories

In the fall of 2010, the Colorado Department of Education (in partnership with the Center for Transforming Learning and Teaching) began to collect information from districts about their efforts to implement unified improvement planning. CDE has developed a collection of written case stories, artifacts and in video interviews documenting the experiences of several Colorado districts and their schools. CDE hopes to continue this effort to share practice as district unified improvement planning work progresses. The first set of district case stories, shared here, include the following districts: Aurora, Cherry Creek, Elizabeth, Falcon, Ft. Lupton, Garfield 16, Greeley, Jefferson County, Montrose, Poudre, St. Vrain, Summit and Woodlin.
