Upcoming Trainings - Registration Now Open: Fall Series

UIP Process Training and UIP Help Sessions for Improvement Plans:

CDE offered full-day UIP Process Training sessions this past fall in partnership with the Center for Transforming Learning and Teaching (CTLT). These sessions addressed each step in the Unified Improvement Planning (UIP) process, and were originally designed for school or district –level planning teams. Materials from each training session are listed within the links below.

The Scaffolded Peer Review of Plans half-day sessions (8:30 am-noon) are now offered as informal UIP Help Sessions that will help ensure your unified improvement plan is complete and headed in the right direction. During your time at these sessions the CDE Improvement Planning staff will be available to answer questions you may have that are specific to your plan. These sessions are open to any staff within schools or at the district level. These help sessions are also available whether your school or district is submitting to CDE in January or April.

Updating Your UIP Toolkit/Diving Into New Data - May 1-4, 2012

In early May, the Colorado Department of Education offered two new learning opportunities for district leaders to support Unified Improvement Planning as districts prepare for the 2012-13 school year. These training sessions were offered in partnership with the Center for Transforming Learning and Teaching, University of Colorado Denver.

UIP Processing Feedback Webinar - March 13, 2012

CDE offered a UIP processing feedback webinar to provide high level support to district staff in processing feedback from CDE following the January UIP submission. The webinar covered general trends across the reviewed school and district plans, including common challenges and considerations for follow up at the local level.
