Program Description:
This program will provide learners w ith the skills necessary to evaluate Prinicpals, Teachers and Specialized Service Providers under SB 191 Educator Effectiveness. The program w ill cover critical elements of SB 191, established priorities for implementation, the evaluation process, the structure and components of the rubric and the scoring of the rubric. The focus of the training primarily w ill be the teacher effectiveness rubric and the ability for teacher leaders to become observers and evaluators. Teachers need to become more familiar w ith the rubric items and to be able to recognize quality teachers within theirbuildings.
