EDMS (Enterprise Data Management Strategy): Foundational Element

CDE will be implementing an Enterprise Data Management strategy that includes alignment with both ED-FI and CEDS national standards.  The Data Pipeline project includes the creation of an Operational Data Store (ODS) that is based on the ED-FI model and will allow Colorado to use reporting tools such as dashboards that were developed in other states.

CDE is also in the process of following out a Data Governance program where by all data within the CDE has a data coordinator assigned.  That program will be closely followed by a Statewide Education Data Governance program that will bring in the P-20 agencies data and stewards.  Additional information will be provided in the coming months.
