Incorporate UIP Feedback Into the Planning Process
As district and school level UIP feedback from CDE becomes available, superintendents and district accountability contacts will receive an email containing instructions on how districts can obtain feedback as well as directions for the next steps in the improvement planning process, including the re-submission of district plans with required changes.
Both district and/or school level planning teams can register now for training sessions this April where local planning teams will learn how to incorporate CDE feedback into plan revisions and planning processes for the upcoming year.

Only One Week Left to Participate in the TELL Colorado Survey!
We need your help, with one week left, only 34 percent of educators have participated. We need a big push to hear from a majority of educators. Get your school and district to 50 percent by taking the survey today! Real time response rates for all districts and schools can be viewed on the TELL website.
There are still 488 schools that have not yet participated in the survey. If code packets have not yet arrived at your schools, or you have questions or concerns, please contact the help desk at http://www.tellcolorado.org/help/index or 1-855-258-2818. New codes can be used right away- the survey window is open until March 6.
To encourage participation, check the live participation rates and contact individual sites about their participation. Talk directly to your principals and teachers, and have them spread the word during meetings, and through their emails and newsletters to staff. Encourage them to find creative ways to find time to take the survey- like getting out of doing dishes by taking the survey instead- and help your staff find 20 minutes to let their voices be heard.

Sign Up for 2013-2014 Consolidated Application Regional Trainings
Preparations are in progress for the release of a portion of the 2013-2014 Consolidated Application. An enhanced budget has been developed that will eliminate much of the narrative required in previous years. This budget will allow districts to identify strategies and action steps for use of funds in 13-14. Once the ESEA allocations are released, districts can then identify how much money is available to fund these action steps. Below is the schedule for trainings in March around this enhanced budget. The trainings begin at 9 a.m. The day will be organized around an initial three hours of hands-on review of the budget's functionality. Another two hours are available for individual work sessions, should a district be interested in this. Use the Survey Monkey tool to register so that we know how many people to anticipate: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QLM5Q3J. Please plan accordingly as meals will not be provided.
