Update
Changes to the 07-08 SAR
Attn: Principals, Superintendents, ADE Directory Respondents
There is a change to the 2007-08 School Accountability Report (SAR) that will impact the data in the ADE Directory. Web sites for districts and schools will now be provided in the SAR. The district and school addresses have been in the directory collection for some time, but it has not been part of the SAR until the 2007-08 school year. The district and school Web sites are populated in the ADE directory on the main directory page and on the school tab for each school in the district.
Districts are encouraged to provide complete Web site information for the district and its schools. However, your district may opt out by having the directory respondent delete the Web addresses in the ADE directory and they will show up as blanks on the SARs.
You may find your districts' assigned respondent at https://ade.cde.state.co.us/respondents.htm#directory.
If a particular school does not have a Web site, then the district Web site will be used. If no Web site is provided, then any reference to a Web site will be left blank. Please check each web link to make sure that it still works.
Directoy updates should be made by Friday, May 30.

Colorado Parent Network
Attn: Principals, Superintendents
The Colorado Parent Network is a concept we've been sharing around the state. Many of you have voiced your appreciation for its potential benefits to give parents resources and state assessment scores online. Unfortunately, state funds are so limited that the Colorado Department of Education is unable to advance the program this year.
In the near future, we will explore the potential to fund and develop the Colorado Parent Network. We are disappointed that we are not able to extend to both you and Colorado’s parents this service at this time.
We truly appreciated your interest and feedback we received. We have taken your ideas and hope to incorporate them into the future Colorado Parent Network.
