To Do
Colorado Department of Agriculture
Attn: Superintendents
In a joint effort with Colorado State University, the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) is looking for school districts to participate in an IPM implementation study. IPM is a pest management strategy that monitors pests and uses multiple techniques to control pests while maintaining sanitation protocols. CDA believes that by reducing pesticide use, IPM will help provide safer teaching and learning environments for students and teaching staff. If you are currently using IPM in your district, use an in-house or commercial pest control service or are interested in participating in this program, please contact Dr. Assefa Gebre-Amlak of the Colorado State University Extension at 970-304-6535, ext. 2074.
