Professional Development Self-Assessment for Colorado Adult Education Teachers

Welcome to the Professional Development Self-Assessment for Colorado Adult Education Teachers. This assessment helps you identify your professional development needs, and is a tool for you to use in planning your annual professional development activities based on those needs. This self-assessment was developed by the Adult Education and Family Literacy Professional Development Advisory Group (PDAG).

It will take approximately 30 minutes for you to complete the self-assessment. Your responses can be viewed only by you. Your program director will get a report indicating whether or not you have completed the Professional Development Self-Assessment and an aggregated report indicating the collective professional development needs of the teachers on your program staff. However, the director will not be able to view your Professional Development Self-Assessment responses individually.

At the end of the self-assessment, you will receive a Professional Development Summary Report itemizing the results of your self-assessment, a certificate of completion, and a Professional Development Action Plan.
