ECEA Eligibility Trainings

Targeted training for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Serious Emotional Disability (SED), Intellectual Disability (ID), Multiple Disabilities (MD). This training is for multidisciplinary teams and essential staff who are responsible for assessing children
for special education. The changes in each of the above targeted disability categories will be presented
based on the Colorado Department of Education’s work on HB 11-1277 which aligns the Exceptional
Children Education Act (ECEA) with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). New and updated
manuals and resources from each of these targeted categories will be shared.
