Masks for Colorado Schools

Overview

In support of the State of Colorado's ongoing efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and to assist in the mitigation of virus spread, Governor Jared Polis directed the distribution of KN95 respirators and surgical masks at no cost to school districts, BOCES, charter schools, private schools and facility schools for staff and students. Shipments to schools and districts for fall 2022 will resume upon request.

Mask shipments will not resume in fall 2022 unless schools request them from the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. DHSEM will supply KN95 respirators, surgical/procedural masks, child-sized masks and disinfecting wipes to schools that opt-in to the program.
