* Allowable Activities
With the exception of facilitating meaningful parent, family and stakeholder engagement, there is a very high burden of proof on districts to verify that paying for food and beverages with ESEA funds is necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the federal program (Title I, Part A, Title II, Part A, Title III, Part A, Title IV Part A, Title V).
Districts should work with their Regional Contact to determine if a food purchase is allowable.
