Perform Strategic Objective

One of the strategic objectives under the RISE program is Perform. This strategic objective seeks to use the RISE data to drive increased student performance through personalized instructional practices, innovative learning programs and dynamic professional development.

The Perform strategic objective is accomplished through:

1) A portion of the Shared Learning Infrastructure (SLI) including learning maps and initial curriculum, and
2) Third party applications.
The Perform objective is where student-centered data is used to inform positive change all the way from the classroom to the capitol.

Perform will enable:
• Sharing of learning trends and outcomes with students, parents, educators, researchers and policy makers to improve public policy and transparency.
• Sharing of methods for best preparing educators and improving student performance, which can then be leveraged across districts.

Perform will also support a broad array of third-party applications that will allow users to adapt, customize and leverage data in unique ways in order to improve instructional decisions and student performance.
