Face-to-Face format
CDE Autism Team is hosting a new in-person training utilizing an evidence-based treatment, Structured Teaching. The treatment promotes independence for students and is designed to assist team members to create an environment and instruction for students on the autism spectrum. There will be 2-in person days in September with the 3rd day (TBD date) having an autism team member coming to the participant's classroom to support the participant in implementing the intervention with fidelity.
Times: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm each day
Accepting registrations from: Special Education Teachers, ECSEs, SLPs
Limited availability: 28 people will be selected from across the state, likely no more than 1-2 from an individual District/AU
Prior approvals needed from supervisor AND District Special Education Director

Certificate
Participants must attend both days of this training to receive credit. At the end of the second day, you will receive an evaluation and upon completion will receive a certificate for 24.0 CDE Special Education and Behavioral Health hours.
