Identification Assessment Webinars
The Identification Webinars have been designed for administrative unit (AU) Gifted Coordinators/Directors to utilize for professional learning opportunities.
The intent of this webinar series is to create a common understanding of gifted identification as it pertains to Colorado statute defined in the Exceptional Children Educational Act (ECEA). The webinars are intended to be led by an AU Gifted Coordinator/Director who will facilitate the discussions throughout the modules. Educators who complete all the modules can be considered a member "trained" in identification practices for the purpose of leading an identification team.
12.02(2)(c)(vi) A review team procedure that includes at least one person trained or endorsed in gifted identification and programming;
