U.S. Department of Education Releases Title II Guidance

The U.S. Department of Education recently released non-regulatory guidance on Title II, Part A. This guidance includes information and resources for State, district, and school personnel, including:

  • Multiple pathways to teaching and leading
  • Induction and mentorship
  • Meaningful evaluation and support
  • Strong teacher leadership
  • Transformative school leadership
  • Supporting a diverse workforce across the career continuum
  • Equitable access to excellent educators
  • Attracting and retaining excellent educators in high-need schools
  • Supporting early learning educators
  • Strengthening Title II, Part A investments
  • Guidance on the definition of “evidence-based”
