Program Description: The San Juan BOCES (SJ BOCES) State Model Evaluator Training Program will operate through the Office of Innovation and Collaboration. The role of evaluator requires a high level of understanding of the State Model Evaluation process as well as strong coaching and collaboration skills. This program is designed to certify licensed individuals to legally and appropriately evaluate teachers, principals and Specialized Service Providers (SSP) using the Colorado State Model Evaluation System. The evaluator training consists of four modules and one on-site team evaluation. The course must be completed within 1 calendar year of beginning the first module.
