After receiving requests for additional trainings on the State Model Evaluation System, CDE is offering an in-person training for any interested individuals. This training is meant for individuals wanting to know more about the state model system. Attending this training does allow you to train principals and people with a principal’s license in your district moving forward. However, further training would be required to train “evaluator designees” (i.e. peer evaluators without a principal’s license). Please see the details of the training below.
Date: March 11-12
(March 11 will be dedicated to the professional practices portion of educator evaluation and March 12 will be dedicated to the measures of student learning portion. You can attend one or both of these dates)
Location: Adams 12 Training Center (1500 East 128th Avenue Thornton, CO 80241)
Time: 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. (each day)
Who should attend?: Superintendents, principals, assistant principals, teachers, teacher leaders, HR staff and school board members
