Developing talented educators
Colorado is committed to attracting the best and brightest to teach our students and to lead our schools.
Teach in Colorado
The state’s Teach in Colorado site connects educators with school districts seeking qualified candidates. Educators can search school districts across Colorado for job openings. Districts can post their job openings to expand their candidate pool.
Assistance for future teachers
The federal TEACH Grant Program provides up to $4,000 per year to undergraduate, post-baccalaureate or graduate students who intend to teach in public or private elementary or secondary schools that serve students from low-income families.
The Quality Teacher Recruitment Grant Program funds activites designed to recruit, slect, place, train and retain highly qualified teachers to teach in Colorado public schools and districts.
Assistance for school districts
The Colorado Department of Education provides funds to districts to attract, recruit and retain effective educators through Title IIA of the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
