Meetings offer opportunities for CDE to present information, provide technical assistance, support shared learning and networking among coordinators. Preschool and special education administrators in roles responsible for identifying and/or serving children with special needs birth to five benefit from attending. Meetings are designed for the designated Child Find Coordinator(s) and Preschool Special Education Administrators of each Special Education Administrative Unit. Special Education Directors should attend, at their discretion.

Child Find Coordinator Orientation
This resource site, CDE Child Find Coordinator Orientation, contains the different categories of practices, many of which are interrelated, that organize and describe effective Child Find processes. A Google+ Community for Colorado Child Find Coordinators has been created to support the resource site. It is a private discussion area for questions, sharing ideas and connecting with peers that can be accessed by approved membership based on the Child Find Directory.
