Regional meetings occur in the Fall of each school year, typically in from late September to early November. The meetings are collaborative opportunities for the CDE preschool special education team and preschool special education administrators in roles responsible for identifying and/or serving children with special needs birth to five. Meetings are designed for meeting the needs of designated Child Find Coordinator(s) and Preschool Special Education Administrators of each Special Education Administrative Unit and attendance is limited to these roles. Special Education Directors should attend, at their discretion.

- October 11, 2017 Pueblo
- October 12, 2017 Colorado Springs
- October 19, 2017 Frisco
- November 7, Denver South
- November 9, 2017 Denver North

Statewide Preschool Special Education and Child Find Meeting
The meeting is held on the first Thursday and Friday of March of each year. Sessions are provided to promote the continuous improvement of Special Education and Child Find practices and the leadership capacity of Child Find Coordinators, Preschool Special Education Administrators other administrators who oversee the Preschool Special Education Process.
