The Math and Science Partnership collection will be created by taking a snapshot of the Student Profile and Enrollments Interchange, Staff Profile and Assignments Interchange, and the TSDL Interchange. LEAs will take the snapshot while the collection is open. At that time Math and Science Partnership specific business rules will run. Once the data has been cleaned and the LEA is satisfied with the data, it will be submitted to CDE for approval. The Math and Science Partnership collection or snapshot is required for districts participating in the Math and Science Partnership grant, which is an Elementary and Secondary Education Act grant awarded to districts on a competitive basis. Grantees or MSP participating districts submit data on teachers that participate in professional development funded by the MSP grant. The snapshot pulls data elements from the Human Resources and Student October Interchanges, which are submitted by all districts. Therefore, only participating districts submit data in the MSP snapshot and only for teachers participating in the grant.
The 2013-2014 MSP data will be collected in the Automated Data Exchange (ADE) from July 2, 2014 through September 30, 2014.
