Title II, Part B, Mathematics and Science Partnerships (MSP), is a competitive grant under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (formerly No Child Left Behind), and is intended to increase the academic achievement of students in math and/or science by enhancing the content knowledge and teaching skills of classroom teachers. This grant provides districts and schools with the opportunity to partner with faculty from the science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics (STEM) departments in institutions of higher education.
Grantees must submit data to the CDE identified the math and science teachers who participated in the grant and the students taught by those teachers during grant years. Only district participating in grant-funded activity must submit data.
The 2014-2015 MSP data will be collected in the Automated Data Exchange (ADE) from July 1, 2015 through September 30, 2015.
