Colorado State Assessment System Revision Process (School Readiness Assessment) Subcommittee considerations are posted and include early childhood recommendations in the Ready Child and Ready School sections beginning on page 30.

April 2011 - Memo updating Early Childhood Assessments
The State Board of Education will be updating the Colorado Basic Literacy Act rules and reviewing the approved literacy assessment tools. In addition, the State Board will be identifying a protocol for assessing numeracy and creating a plan to for measuring school readiness of all kindergarten students.

Forms for Determining Child Eligibility

Per CDE memo (May 20, 2009 – Family Economic Data Survey for FY2009-2010 Pupil Registration, Vody Herrmann), all programs should collect Free and Reduced Lunch eligibility data for each child, even if the child is not qualifying under this factor.
