Resource Bank
The CDE
Resource Bank consists of high quality assessments, aligned
to the Colorado Academic Standards, for all grades and content
areas. The CDE Resource Bank provides districts with optional
assessments to use in their classrooms.
The CDE Resource
Bank launched in December 2012 and includes assessments
reviewed by the Content Collaboratives member in Career and
Technical Education, Comprehensive Health, Dance, Drama &
Theatre Arts, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Reading,
Writing & Communicating, Science, Social Studies, Visual Arts,
and World Languages. While the bank will continue to be updated
with more assessments and instructional supports, the initial
launch allows districts to field test assessments for use in
teacher evaluations.
All assessments reviewed by the Content Collaboratives utilized
the Assessment
Review Tool to determine its overall quality and potential
purpose and use to support instruction and the measurement of
student learning. CDE encourages educators to use the
Assessment
Review Tool as a means to evaluate and improve local
assessments.
Access to the Assessment Review Tool along with helpful
glossaries, depth of knowledge guidance, inventories of
assessments reviewed and reports outlining assessment gaps
that still exist can be found in the CDE Resource Bank at
